The Bynum Brothers are at it again. They are opening their second Green Soul at the Top of the Hill Plaza in Chestnut Hill. The first location recently opened on Ogontz Avenue in West Oak Lane.
Tony Inchote, who has worked in the kitchens of Susanna Foo and Dmitri’s has set this Friday as the opening date of Thai BYO, Sawatdee at 15th and South.
King Tut is set to open at the corner of 13th and Pine this Thursday. The menu will be take its inspiration from Egypt and throughout the Middle East. [Zagat]

Jet Wine Bar opened on the 1500 block of South Street over the weekend. Expect reasonable wine by the glass and a lot of blue. [Jet Wine Bar]

Little Fish is going to take over the Salt and Pepper space at 6th and Fitzwater. Salt and Pepper is moving to 1623 E Passyunk which was most recently Michael’s Cafe.  [Restaurant Club]

King Tutankhamun has arrived in Philadelphia, the final stop on the current US tour. The treasures of the boy king will be on display through September 30th at the Franklin Institute and some Philadelphia bars and restaurants are ready with King Tut related specials.
