On Tuesday, March 5th Steve Wildy from Alla Spina and Keith Raimondi from Lemon Hill, as well as the fine folk at Yard’s Brewery will be joining forces to create special cocktails and a beer. The team will be utilizing a barrel that has aged Vieux Carre (rye, cognac, sweet vermouth, Benedictine) for thirty days, then harbored a Tavern Spruce ale and finally another barrel-aged cocktail to create three unique drinks.
The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. at Lemon Hill where guests will enjoy the classic Vieux Carre and then the barrel-aged version along with hors d’oeuvres. Uber car services will then shuttle guests to Alla Spina for a two-course dinner and dessert paired with the Tavern Spruce and Old Square Spruce cocktail.
The dinner is $75 per person.

We’ve got good news and bad news:
The bad news is Sunday dinner service is out at Lemon Hill.
The good news is they’ve replace it with a pretty awesome all-day Sunday menu from 10am-6pm.
With this menu, they promise to appease the stomachs of every guest, keeping their brunch items available all day, as well as adding a few new items. Keep in mind, though, when the food stops, so does the booze. So if you’re looking for a Sunday pick-me-up (they’re one of the only restaurants that serve Rival Brothers Revolver blend and decaf), or you’re hungover and in the need of something to absorb and buffer, or you just want some grub after finishing a Sunday brunch/lunch shift yourself, Lemon Hill’s got you covered.

Lemon Hill has taken over the food program at Franklin Mortgage & Investment Co. chef Joel Mazigian will be preparing seasonal snacks like Speck with house mustard, Bayley Hazen Blue with pear vanilla aigre-doux and candied walnuts.
And remember, it’s never a bad idea to mix in solids during a drinking session at the Franklin.

When thinking of love, the first thought that comes to people’s minds is usually far from lemons. Lemon Hill is challenging this notion, however, with the introduction of their Dinner for 2 Specials. Every weekend, couples can share a protein-packed entree that changes weekly. The dishes can be split between more than two people, so don’t turn down your neighbor’s double-date request just yet.

Oh the weather outside is frightful, but there’s nothing a little liquid warmth won’t fix. This Friday, November 30th, warm up at Lemon Hill as they debut their brand new winter cocktail menu. Created by the Franklin’s Al Sotack, the menu features new signature drinks and is packed with interesting and unique flavor combinations.
We’re talking seasonal and special, like the Transmetropolitan Punch made with Ransom Old Tom, Plymouth gin, Cicchi Americano, fresh lime juice, house cranberry sage syrup, Bitter Truth lemon bitters all shaken and served with club soda and the Hot Butter Rum with Appleton, Smith and Cross, Goslings, butter, hot water, and fees aromatic. Yum. Ya, I think that will warm you right up.

With their classic cocktail focus and new fall menu, Fairmount’s Lemon Hill has now launched a new Happy Hour program to round out the season. Some of it is fairly basic ($7 glasses of Cabernet or Chardonay, $1 off all draft beers between 6pm and 8pm), but they’re also doing a rotating $7 cocktail-of-the-day kind of thing which will highlight a different traditional mixed drink every night.

Professional drinkers aside, usually when you hear Village Whiskey you think burgers, right? Well, keep thinking about the burgers but now add the whiskey this time as well because tonight (Tuesday, November 6th), Village Whiskey will be having a reunion at Lemon Hill.
Strange? A little. But get past it. If you’re looking for a place to get weird after the polls close, this is it.
They’ll be serving up original Village Whiskey cocktails developed by the opening staff at a discounted price. There’s sure to be some fancy whiskey floating around there, too. Plus, the event is open to the public, and starts at 9:30 p.m. Or maybe 10pm. Or whenever. A slew of bartenders will be mixing, and the lineup includes Keith “Danger” Raimondi, Stephen Siebert, Lindsay Kruger, Alejandro Vaca, and Juan Bustamonte. Wear your drinking socks and come ready to sip the night (and maybe a small piece of your liver) away.

There’s no denying that the star of Lemon Hill is the bar but Craig LaBan finds worthwhile bites on chef Joel Mazigan’s menu as well.
Yes, Mazigian is more than capable of searing a nice piece of fish, like the special skate over corn puree, roasted eggplant, and a zingy, pickled pepper vinaigrette. But Lemon Hill is at its best when it’s updating the tavern spirit with thoughtful takes on simple fare. The baked flatbreads topped with pulled BBQ chicken meat, corn bread puree, and tart chunks of pickled green tomatoes are borderline Dixie genius. A flatbread with roast cauliflower, arugula, pecorino, and fava beans was reminiscent of my favorites from the Garces Trading Co. canon.
