Friday
Fegley’s Brewworks of Allentown will be taking over the Tasting lounge at City Tap House this weekend in their second Pop Up Brewery. Nine beers will be tapped including Bourbon Barrel Aged Insidious Imperial Stout and the super rare Arctic Alchemy.
Saturday
Keeping up with the bourbon barrel aged beers will take you to Maple Shade and Iron Hill. Six beers are being offered that were aged in bourbon barrels. There will also be six wild beers (beers with a wild yeast and “sweet sock funk”) available. The event runs from 12 to 5pm and includes two different flight options for $12.
Sunday
Mercato is always a popular choice for BYOBs despite its mostly no-reservation policy. But on Sundays that changes with their new family-style dinner. It’s reservations only and includes a salad, entree, sides, dessert, homemade limoncello and coffee. All that costs just $35 per person and this week the main course is Broccoli Rabe and Provolone Stuffed Meatloaf.
