The former El Fuego on Chestnut Street is getting a new tenant. Agno Grill is promising to bring “a new kind of Mediterranean” this spring. We confirmed that Pure Fare’s Kriti Sehgal is behind the project and she promises us details next week. Until then, we’ll just have to imagine what’s new and Mediterranean.

Free is always good, even if it’s health food—and to many, especially if it’s health food. Pure Fare is helping you celebrate this holiday season by giving away a free “goodie” with any item purchased between 12 and 3 p.m., every day, until Christmas Eve. These treats will change daily so stop by the Rittenhouse or the South Street location to enjoy one of their popular healthy favorites or some brand new creations while supplies last.

Pure Fare, the healthy, all natural quick serve spot on 21st Street is opening a second location at 1609 South Street in the former home of Pumpkin Cafe. The deal has been quietly in the works for several months but with the awning installed, there’s no denying that quinoa, shakes, salads and low-cal sandwiches are coming to South Street West.
