Chipotle’s Walnut Street location is set to open on October 20th.

Meredith’s in Berwyn has become Aneau, a bistro and wine bar. There will be 30 wines for under $30 and a “more well-rounded, hipper” dining experience.

Lord Chesterfield is on the fridge at Standard Tap.

The Capital Grille in King of Prussia is set to open on November 8th. Gino’s Hamburgers in King of Prussia is even less far out.

Dobbs is looking to make another go of it on South Street. A.D. Amorosi puts the hoped-for opening in November. [City Paper]

Early Changes at Ro-Zu

Trey Popp laments the exit of Ro-Zu’s original chef,Todd Dae Kulper and finds that the successor, Hung Pham is in an unenviable spot.

Pham, formerly of West Chester’s Kooma, has a simpler, lighter style than Kulper. During a recent meal, he was at his best when injecting the clean flavors of thinly sliced lemon and mint leaves into a yellowtail roll, for a refreshing summer pick-me-up. It’s hard to see him dabbling too much with anything as heavy and potentially overbearing as truffle. He’s working with the same fresh, high-quality fish Kulper was using, and mostly letting it speak for itself. A bowl of sashimi dressed in a bright vinegar sauce was simple and light, with enough zip in the liquid to make pieces of tuna shine. A nigiri spread was, again, simple and without flaw â€” but also without much to distinguish it from other mid-level sushi places around town.

You take a day off and fall hopelessly behind the RSS Reader, email and we don’t even want to think about what we’ve missed on Twitter.

So without further ado, our Quick Bites focusing just on upcoming and recent openings.

Stephen Starr’s beer garden concept got the approval of the neighborhood 158-11 despite a hard-of-hearing gentleman worrying about the noise. With indoor and outdoor options we’re really intrigued how this turns out.

500Â°, the burger place from Rouge’s Rob and Maggie Wasserman is looking to open by March 17th. [The Insider]

Delicatessen has opened at 7th and Chestnut. They feature classic Jewish deli staples and nouveau takes like Sephardic Ceviche, citrus cured salmon with red onion and capers. [Meal Ticket]

Michael Klein has a bit more on Hoof + Fin which has opened on 3rd Street in the former Gayle address. [Philadelphia Inquirer]
