Dan McQuade spotted this 500° bag in last week’s episode of the Office. 500° owner, Rob Wasserman had no idea his burger spot’s bag was going to show up on network television but then The Price Is Right didn’t tell him that a meal at Rouge, Wasserman’s Rittenhouse spot, was going to be a prize either.

Appetite for Awareness, the signature event of the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, is coming to Philadelphia on Sunday September 23rd from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Strawbridge Building. The event is in its eighth year and continually brings together physicians and chefs from the area’s top restaurants to serve up information and gluten-free dishes.

Uwishunu’s Moonlit Movie Screenings return this Saturday, August 11th, at Rittenhouse Square with Midnight in Paris showing on the 18th St. side of the park (at Locust) at 8:30pm. As the title indicates, France is the theme of the night and Shake Shack and Rouge are getting in on the action.

At long last, Agiato has opened in Manayunk. Chef Joe Scarpone who owned Sovalo in Northern Liberties is at the helm. [The Insider]
Longtime Rouge chef Michael Yeamans has returned to the Rittenhouse spot and is serving a truffle-centric menu through the end of the year. [Grub Street]

Columbus Inn in Wilmington has reopened. The chef is Chris D’Ambro who received much praise during his short stint at Old City’s Bocca. [Columbus Inn]

Olive on 3rd is the replacement for Ava at 3rd and Gaskill. It’s Christine Fischer latest shot at a restaurant. She also had ChrisStevens and Astral Plane Millenium. [Philadelphia Inquirer]

Biba is the name of Tria’s “feisty little cousin” set to open this August at 3131 Walnut Street. It will be a slimmed-down operation from Tria with 26 wines by the glass, 10 beers including a cask and room for just 34. [The Insider]
The downstairs redo at APO IS going to happen but its NOT going to be a diner. [Meal Ticket]
Matt Levin is returning to Rittenhouse Square as the specials being served up at Rouge will be from the former Lacroix chef. Levin’s Adsum is still slated to open at 5th and Bainbridge in June. [The Insider]
