Chef Marcie Turney brings back fan-favorite $20 Taco Tuesday this April and May at Lolita starting April 9th.
Conquer those midweek cravings with an appetizing menu consisting of grilled fillet tips, Puerco borracha, grilled asparagus and wild mushrooms, crispy plantain and blue corn crusted mahi, jicama, lime Mexican beans with smoked bacon, cotija, chile and a whole slew of other delicacies. Vegetarian beans are also available upon request.
And wash down those tacos with a nice glass of tequila. Taco Tuesdays are BYOT (Bring Your Own Tequila) and Lolita is serving up freshly-squeezed margarita mixes for your drinks: choose from blood orange, traditional lime and passion fruit!

On Tuesday, February 5th, Cantina Los Caballitos is kicking off its Tequila Club. The first meeting will feature an “Introduction to Tequila” focusing on the basics of Tequila. There will be four different tequilas which will be paired with food from executive chef Mark McKinney.
Tickets are $35 per person and may be purchased at East Passyunk’s Cantina Los Caballitos or via the phone at 215-755-3550.

On Wednesday, September 21st Cantina Feliz is serving a four-course Herradura Tequila dinner. Herradura’s Tequila Ambassador Orfilio Quintero will be at the Fort Washington restaurant for the $35 per person dinner (tequila pairings are an additional $15).
The menu and pairings will also be available from Monday, September 19th through Thursday, September 22nd either as a prix fixe or a la carte.

Bryn Mawr’s Verdad is hosting Tequila University tonight and on the first Thursday of every month.
Classes are $30 per person and held in Verdad’s Agave Room. Guest professors educate students on the history, origins and flavors of tequila.
Each class will feature three varieties of tequila, which will be paired with food tastings chosen to for the class.
Tonight’s class will feature Michael Owens of Dulce Vida Tequila.

This Thursday, Cantina Dos Segundos is hosting Fiesta Herradura, a fun night pairing Herradura añejos, reposados and blancos tequila with Mexican finger foods. There will also be tequila shots served in carved out cucumbers and chorizo corn dogs available.Â
