Free Coffee to Toast Toast’s Grand Opening

Toast has been open since the end of January but will be celebrating its grand opening with a free coffee giveaway tomorrow, Friday, March 8th from 7-9 a.m., and Saturday, March 9th from 9-11 a.m.

Toast offers coffee prepared by French press, pour-over and electric brewer. A dark, medium and light roast will be available daily and will feature single-blends from local roasters. Currently One Village, Philly Fair Trade Roasters and Green Street are all available.

YOLO Is Toast

The former YOLO/Oddfellows at 12th and Spruce is back again, this time as Toast. The paper was removed from the windows last night and the cafe will open for service tomorrow. The team at East Passyunk’s Chhaya Cafe is behind Toast and will be slowly rolling out service. Tomorrow will see coffee, pastries and a limited menu. The menu will expand over the weekend and we’ll have more details as they become available.
