Square 1682 is taking the best part of RW (the three-for-$35 price tag) and ditching the worst (the “choose between this or that” limited menu). Diners can pick any three courses from the regular menu for only $35 (although the shellfish platter, roasted Squab, and rack of lamb will be a few additional bucks). Find the full menu here.

Rick Nichols visits several spots north of Center City for his piece in yesterday’s Inquirer. He starts off with praise of Cafe Lift, crosses his fingers for Cafe Estelle, stops off to slam Root and ends at Zhi-Wei-Guan, a new restaurant in Chinatown that doesn’t really excite. All-in-all, an odd spin around that section of the city.
